We solely manufacture and distribute the worldwide supply of Abbotts’ FreeStyle and FreeStyle Lite brands of blood glucose test strips, which are used in conjunction with FreeStyle blood glucose monitoring meters.
The site researches and develops next generation technology, processes and materials to progress coulometric monitoring to the highest level and our new flash glucose monitoring technology is revolutionizing the way people manage their diabetes.

Established in 2006, Abbott’s diabetes business in Ireland has become the sole manufacturer of the FreeStyle range of diagnostic test strips, meeting the rapid growth in demand for diabetes care due to the increased incidence and detection of diabetes worldwide.
